Anti-Imperialism

We oppose all forms of Imperialism and Tyranny, regardless of whether it is American, Russian, Chinese, or otherwise. This does not mean that Democracies should not stick together for collective security, but it does mean we must wage radical peace.

An Inspired Future

While we bind up societies wounds, we must also advance into the future. Science, Technology, Humanities, the Arts, and Free Enterprise will thrive in American Social Democracy.

Democracy and Social Justice

Democracy is non-negotiable. Racism, Capitalist Exploitation, Criminal Injustice, Fascism, Environmental Destruction, Misogyny, Homophobia, White Supremacy and other malignancies are tools of oppression. We must shatter these tools and heal our ancient wounds via a robust Democratic process.

Domestic Mixed Economy

28 out of 38 OECD Countries are Social Democracies. 17 of those 28 have higher Human Development Quality scores than the United States. Social Democracy is the opposite of an untested concept, and has the opposite of a poor track record. We can take lessons from abroad and apply them here, to make our lives better, while still maintaining what makes the American economy so strong.

We Welcome Dissent!

Honest disagreements are necessary to form consensus and turn ideas into collective actions. What helps is pledging to argue in good faith, and to keep an open mind. What hurts is ostracizing anyone for having alternate views.

We believe there is a hidden consensus for Smart Leftism

Tools of oppression divide the working class of America. Race, Sex, Scarcity, and other forms of Social Injustice keep us angry at each other, and avoiding the obvious experiences and desires that bind us all together.

We don’t welcome Malignant Ideology!

We welcome honest disagreements among good people. However. If imperialism, white supremacy, racial bigotry, misogyny, fascism, or other social malignancies are what you’re bringing to the table, you’re not welcome!

We Vote for Democrats

America is a two party system, unfortunately. As long as that is the case however, we vote for the party that maintains the functioning apparatus of Democracy, and the semi-social democracy we already have, and need to dramatically improve.

We Challenge Ourselves!

Because we reject extremism and anti-intellectualism, we take special care to avoid our opinions becoming dogmatic. There is no shibboleth, there is just the truth.

A Social Democracy guarantees Economic and Social rights in addition to our existing Civil and Political Rights. Rights create affirmative obligations, and done correctly, can potentially eliminate the instability and inequality we have today.
